Editorial Policy
How we plan, write, update and correct our guides.
Last updated: October 13, 2026This page explains how SK Province plans, writes, updates and corrects its guides, and how we build our tools. It is a promise about the standards we aim to meet.
Our purpose
We publish naming guides to help people choose names with confidence. Each guide should answer a real question, give examples a reader can use, and be honest about what is uncertain.
How we choose topics
We build content around three clusters: name mixing, nicknames and usernames, and clan names and tags. A fourth cluster, naming guides, covers sound, safety and availability. We do not publish articles that fall outside these topics just to add pages.
How guides are written
- We state the answer early, then explain it with examples.
- We use plain language and short sentences.
- We invent example names for illustrations. We do not use real people or real clan names as examples.
- We say when something is a tendency or a rule of thumb and not a fact.
- We do not give legal advice. Where a topic touches trademarks or business names, we say so and suggest a qualified professional.
Accuracy, updates and corrections
Every guide shows its publication date. When we make a meaningful change, we add an updated date. If you find an error, tell us. We will check it, correct it and, when the change matters, note it on the page.
How the tools are built
Our generators use word lists and rules that we write and test. They do not use an artificial intelligence service to create results. We filter out unwanted words, but no filter is perfect. If you see a result that should not appear, please report it.
Independence and advertising
Recommendations and examples are chosen for usefulness. If we later accept advertising, sponsorships or affiliate links, we will keep them clearly separate from editorial content and label them. Advertising will not change how we write guides or how the tools rank results.
What we avoid
- Fake reviews, fake ratings and invented statistics.
- Claims about specific games, brands or products that we have not checked.
- Names or examples that mock people.
Authorship
Guides are published under the byline SK Province Editorial Team. See the about page for more on who we are.
